A bunch of Sony Xperia Z3 Compact images leak

As we edge closer to the IFA, leaks about one of the expected stars of the show, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, are bound to intensify. The diminutive flagship has surfaced in a bunch of new live photos today, revealing a few more pieces of the puzzle.
As you could expect, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will take after the design of the full-size Xperia Z3, replacing the flat sides with curved ones. The elements at the back – the 20.7 MP camera lens and its LED flash are slightly rearranged with the labels moving in between them rather than on the side.

The microSD card slot and the microUSB port now share a common flap, rather each getting its own as on the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. On the opposite the three buttons seem to have been increased in size slightly, which is a welcome improvement as they were a bit too small on the previous Sony Compact flagship.

Other than the images and what we could get from them, the source hasn’t given us anything else to feed our geeky appetite. Previous reports had it that the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with 3GB of RAM and it will feature a 1080p screen. The Sony IFA event is set for September 3 so we have just under a month until we find out.
