Kogan introduces low-cost Agora 4G in the UK

Kogan, the Australian reseller, in association with BenQ has introduced its Agora 4G smartphone in the United Kingdom. The latest offering from company is said to be designed to offer high-end hardware experience at an affordable price tag.
Kogan Agora 4G sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The budget smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Adreno 305 GPU.
The device is equipped with 1GB of RAM and there’s 8GB of internal storage on board to fit in all your content. The 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 megapixel front facing shooter complete the camera department.

As the name suggests, the Agora supports 4G LTE on 700MHz, 900MHz and 1800MHz, which means that the smartphone can make use of faster network speeds only on EE or Three in the UK. So, if you are on any other carrier, then you will have to live without the 4G connectivity.
Kogan Agora 4G comes with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and the device packs a 2,500mAh battery.
With a price tag of £149, the Agora 4G competes against the likes of Motorola Moto G and it will be interesting to see how the smartphone performs in the UK.
