Samsung has announced the new Galaxy Tab Active, a ruggedized version of their Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. The tablet features an anti-shock covering that protects it from drops as high as 1.2m. It is also dust and water resistant with IP67 certificate.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a 8.0-inch, 1280×800 resolution LCD, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 3.1 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, C-Pen stylus, 4,450mAh replaceable battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Galaxy Tab Active also comes with Samsung’s KNOX security feature, along with three years extended warranty that covers accidents.
The device will be sold in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+LTE options in the Titanium Green color
