Google Drive now lets you disable downloading, printing, and copying of files

Google Drive has received an update that allows users to further control how shared documents are used by others. The cloud service now lets you disable downloading, printing, and copying of files.

The new functionality can be accessed from the advanced sharing menu (see image above) - just open the sharing dialogue from any Google Drive file, and click on Advanced in the lower right hand corner. Files for which this feature has been enabled will show an Export option disabled notification in the File and Edit menus (see image below).
The feature, which is currently only available for the web version of the service, can be used for any file stored in Drive, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentations created with Google Docs.
