Intel and Unity Technologies announced strategic collaboration to extend Andorid support for the chipmaker’s devices. Unity will add Android support for Intel’s current and future x86 chips, including the Core and Atom families.
Collaboration with Unity is a clear sign that Intel is about to get a lot more serious about setting its foot on the market for Android devices. With 64-bit devices heading our way, I reckon that we won’t have to wait long to see the first results from the partnership.
