Android M rumored to bring dedicated app permission controls

The next major iteration of Android will reportedly bring dedicated permission controls to users. Android M is expected to debut tomorrow during Google I/O in San Francisco.
Currently, Android prompts users to accept all permissions an application requires before installing it. In Android M, permission controls will reportedly be accessed and modified within the app, or by going to the device’s settings menu.


There is no word on how will an application behave with denied permissions. We reckon that members of the Android team at Google will elaborate on the subject tomorrow.
