After having been launched by Verizon on the last day of July, the LG G Vista is now headed to AT&T. That this carrier would sell it too was in fact something that got leaked last month, so this is hardly surprising.
You'll be able to pick up a G Vista from AT&T starting on August 22, either online or in stores.
It will be priced at $49.99 with a new two-year contract, or $354.99 without a long term agreement. Alternatively, you have the option to get it using AT&T's Next installment plan. If you go this route, you won't shell out anything upfront, but will then have to make either 20 monthly payments of $17.75 or 24 monthly payments of $14.80.
For "a limited time", anyone who purchases a G Vista from AT&T can grab an LG G Pad 7.0 tablet with LTE support for just 99 cents - though you'll need to get a two-year data plan for that too.
The LG G Vista comes with a 5.7-inch 720p touchscreen, an 8 MP rear camera with laser autofocus (like the G3), and a 1.3 MP front camera.
It's powered by a Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm, which features a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU. Though unnamed in AT&T's documentation, it's safe to assume that this is a Snapdragon 400 and those CPU cores are based on ARM's Cortex-A7 design.
The phablet comes with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (of which only 3.72GB is actually user accessible), and microSD card support. Keeping things running is a 3200 mAh battery, and the G Vista runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
