HTC One E9+ review

If you want HTC's highest-specced, big-screened QHD smartphone, the One E9+ is very likely the one you're looking for. Only the lack of the signature all-metal unibody saves the company's reigning flagship a good deal of embarrassment.
HTC One E9+
It's quite hard to actually decide which precise model sits atop HTC's 2015 One lineup, and there may well be more than one correct answer. You have the M9, obviously, which has Qualcomm's latest chipset inside and the metal design to appeal to your sense of style, but sticks with a FullHD 5-inch screen.
Midway up the size ladder, you'll find the 5.2-inch QHD M9+, which retains the metal unibody and adds a second camera on the back, as well as a fingerprint sensor, but opts for an arguably inferior Mediatek chipset. There's an almost identical ME version, which comes with a single rear camera, and comes with a polycarbonate body.

For now Send is working in the US and Canada for people with Office 365 business and school email accounts. It's supposed to become more broadly available at some point "in the coming months".

Microsoft will sell Windows 10 on bootable flash drives

Microsoft has confirmed that it will be selling Windows 10 on bootable USB flash drives instead of optical media. This will allow consumers to install the OS even on machines that don't have an optical disc drive built-in, such as some of the ultraportable notebooks. The USB drives will also likely be a good bit faster than the discs, making the process quicker.
The OS is now currently up for pre-order on Amazon and is available on a USB drive. You can pre-order the Home edition for $119.99 and the Pro edition for $199.99, if you don't have an existing Windows machine that you can update for free.

Yahoo's new LiveText app combines text messages with muted video

Nearly a couple of months after it removed its Messenger app from iTunes, Yahoo has launched a new mobile messaging app dubbed LiveText, although it's currently only available in the Hong Kong iTunes Store.
What makes LiveText different from its contemporaries is the fact that it combines text messages with muted video. The idea here is to allow users to see each other in real-time as they text each other.
“The advent of smartphones led a shift towards convenience and speed. We’ve gone from communicating primarily with our voices to using our fingers to text on glass,” Livetext’s description says.

It seems Google is ready to launch a new custom Gmail address feature for standard Gmail users. The new snooze options will be available on emails containing package tracking updates, restaurant and event reservations, calendar invites, flight confirmations, hotel reservations, and rental car reservations.

Ability to sign up for Messenger without a Facebook account now available to people worldwide

Last month, when Facebook rolled-out a feature allowing those without an account to sign up for its Messenger app, it was only available in the US, Canada, Peru, and Venezuela. However, the company has just announced that the functionality is now available to people worldwide.
"Excited to announce that the ability for everyone to use Messenger, even without a Facebook account, is now available globally," said Messenger team member David Marcus in a Facebook post. The feature allows you to sign up using your phone number instead, although you also need to state a name and add a photo.
The announcement comes just over a couple of weeks after the social networking company opened the Messenger's money-sending feature to everyone in the United States.

Check out this beautiful Samsung Galaxy Note 5 360-degree render

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 crawled out of obscurity over the past few weeks and thanks to a couple of supposedly genuine renders, one coming from @onleaks, the other one courtesy of a casemaker, we now have a pretty complete picture of the upcoming top-shelf phablet. And while those renders may be right on the money, they stick to color schemes suitable for 3D modeling.
It's nice then that a bunch of people have put in the effort to make a more true to life rendition of the Note 5, based on the first render, and post it online. So we have the successor to the Galaxy Note 4 presented in white attire, ready for a 360-degree spin.
