CyanogenMod 11 gets ported to Android One smartphones

CyanogenMod 11 is now unofficially available for Android One devices. The ultra-popular custom ROM for Android made its way to the lineup of entry-level devices thanks to a crafty member of XDA Developers.
As is the case with most early unofficial ports, some hardware features of the MediaTek device are not ready for prime time just yet. Notable functionality omissions include dual-SIM connectivity and cellular data. The developer is already working on a fix for the issues.
If you are an owner of a Micromax Canvas V1, Spice Dream UNO, and Karbonn Sparkle V and are feeling adventurous, hit the source link to try out CyanogenMod 11. As always, be aware of the usual risks of bricking your device, as well as voiding its warranty.
