Google has added a new feature allowing users to place food orders with select delivery services directly from its search results. “When you search for a nearby restaurant on your phone, you’ll see an option toPlace an order in the search results. Just tap that, choose the delivery service and you’ll be taken to their website to complete the order,” the search giant said.
The feature is currently only available in the US, where Google has partnered with six food on-demand providers, including Seamless, Grubhub, Eat24, BeyondMenu, Delivery.com, and MyPizza.com.
The Mountain View, California-based company said that more delivery providers will be added to the list soon.
