Verizon MVNO Page Plus has announced that it will implement support for official 4G LTE device activation beginning in October, after months of speculation on if Page Plus would offer such access. As Verizon Wireless recently expanded access to its LTE network to its own prepaid service over the summer, speculation grew at a fever pitch regarding which Verizon MVNOs would be the first to receive access to Verizon’s LTE network, with Page Plus being the most heavily discussed.
Page Plus dealers will be receiving more details in the weeks leading up to the launch and Page Plus has been assigned its own LTE SIM card for service activation that will also be made available to dealers next month. Service plan costs will not be increased with the inclusion of 4G LTE access, while “The 12″ plan will be excluded from 4G LTE service activation, otherwise all current plans will work for 4G LTE activation with full speeds and 3G service.
