Poll results – Apple hardware disappoints

A few days ago we asked you to chime in with your personal opinion on the hotness of the trio of Apple products revealed this week. Your votes are now in and the result is clear.
None among the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Watch are considered hot by the majority of our readers. Actually none managed to exceed the 40% approval barrier with the iPhone 6 getting as low as 36% positive votes.

And you may have a point – Apple could’ve done a lot better in terms of resolution on the iPhone 6. The camera department hasn’t seen any change in four years, either, which is ages in smartphone terms.
The iPhone 6 Plus at least got OIS for its camera and a higher-resolution screen. That helped it rate the best among you with 40% approval.

Regarding the Apple Watch, the company is reaching out to an entirely new market, which unlike the smartphone scene at the time of the original iPhone, is chock-full with potent rivals. The circular Moto 360 and LG G Watch R are just warming up the space with a more desirable circular design and a much more affordable price tags.
Their availability also trumps that of the Watch. “Early 2015″ sounds like a joke, really.
